Originally a muggle townhouse and having sheltered generations of the Blacks, it eventually became the first real home of Harry Potter when it was bequeathed to him by Sirius Black following his demise.
The tapestry room was a dingy looking place with wooden floorboards and very dull wallpaper upon the walls.

Above the fireplace is a portrait of a young girl, but view it from a different direction and she ages into a long dead corpse.
The dwelling was the headquarters of The Order of the Phoenix between 1995 and 1997.
Sean has finished the brickwork in an aged matt black to complete the look of the outside.
Notice the address sign on the back wall.
Kreature, the house elf is sitting behind the chair with a screwdriver in hand.
This house elf was a useless cleaner because he was too pre-occupied with destroying the locket by Sirius Black. Hence the Tapestry room is one of our most dirty in this collection.
There are 3 wall candles and an an oil lamp on the table withing the Tapestry room.
The candles and oil lamps have all been programmed to realistically flicker.
They are controlled by the renowned Microminiatures MK-005 miniature lighting system which has been fitted into the base of the cabinet.
The handheld remote control is used to turn the lamps and candles on and off and change their settings if required.
