Supplied in packs of 10 these pre-wired 3mm LEDs have a tiny IC built into them which flashes the Led at a rate of 1.5Hz (1½ times per second). The leads are approximately 220mm long and have stripped and soldered ends ready for direct connection to a 12 or 5 volt supply. There is no need to connect a series resistor as they have one built into the lead. When the LED is off it looks clear but flashes in the selected colour when connected to a power supply, making them especially suitable for model rocket and space ship control panels.
