Our new MK-005 8 channel remote control dolls house lighting controller is probably the most versatile, advanced and powerful available. The remote unit has 8 independent outputs which are fully controllable using the IR remote control handset. Each output is capable of powering up to 60 bulbs and can be programmed in any one of five different modes as below. All functions are controlled and operated using the remote control handset.

Features

Full remote control operation using the IR handset.

Ultra simple connection to dolls house and model lights and fireplaces.

Save button stores all programmed settings, these settings will be retained after the power is switched off.

All outputs can be turned on and off together or restored by pressing a single button on the remote handset.

Group programming allows blocks of outputs to be turned on or off together. For instance all the lights on the ground floor could be turned on or off together or you may wish to turn on or off all the fires in one go.

Mode 1 Standard light

The output’s can be turned on and off and have their brightness adjusted using the remote control handset.

Mode 2 Simulated Candle mode

In this mode the output simulates a candle and is ideal for connecting to a dolls house candelabra or oil lamp. Note, this is not just a flickering light, the output is designed to emulate a candle and can be programmed in 24 different modes from a virtually static candle to a candle in a draughty hallway. The simulated candle output is turned on or off and adjusted using the remote control handset.

Mode 3 Simulated Fire mode

This mode emulates a fire and again just like the candle mode, this is not just a random flickering output. The effect produced is extremely realistic and has 8 programmable output modes. The output can be programmed to simulate barely glowing embers just about to go out through to a raging fire. This mode also has spitting embers built into the effect. The output is programmed and turned on or off using the remote control handset.

Mode 4 Flashing

The flashing light mode is ideal for controlling a flashing “OPEN” sign or similar in a model dolls house shop. It is also ideal for controlling belisha beacons in a model layout. The output is turned on or off and the flash speed adjusted from slow to fast using the remote control handset.

Mode 5 Control output

This mode is used to turn on or off additional electronic units which cannot normally be controlled by a remote control handset.

Although the MK-005 is very versatile and sophisticated, it is extremely simple to operate with full instructions supplied and telephone or email support should you want it. The unit has built in status lights indicating power, programming mode and remote status as well as the status of all 8 individual outputs.

The MK-005 is also ideal for controlling model railway scenery lighting or indeed any type of 12 volt model lights.

Up to 3 units can be connected together and independently operated from one handset. Each board provides an additional 8 independent outputs. Keys 1 – 8 operate the 1^st board, keys 9 – 16 operate the second board and buttons 17 – 24 operate the 3^rd board. Additional boards simply plug in using the cable provided.
